I like her logic too, but not even a year ago I still lived in Manhattan. Its expensive! That's the part I suspect she can't quite comprehend!

I once spent a month's rent on a leather jacket in New York (and no, I really couldn't afford it on my librarian's salary), back when I lived there. Crazy, crazy youth!
